The use of AI in the creative process reflects the show's themes of identity and authenticity—questioning what makes something "ours" and how we integrate external influences into our personal expression. The technology served as a mirror and sounding board, helping to articulate ideas that were always fundamentally human in origin.

Patrick Carter is the creative force behind More Than We Can Carry, bringing together his passion for storytelling, musical composition, and exploring the human condition through theatrical performance.

Drawing from personal experiences of transition and transformation, Patrick crafted this musical as an exploration of what it means to seek change while carrying the unchangeable parts of ourselves. The work reflects his belief that the most profound journeys are internal, even when they take us across oceans.
